This page is about some of my graphics work.
Currently my main focus will be on leather and some of the items that are made from it.
It is mind-boggling how many things around us are made from leather.
My goal is to bring a wide variety of examples to show you. I will have the usual items such as purses, wallets, belts, and the like, maybe even a saddle or two in time. But the not-so-common items and accessories like mugs and masks and so much more will also find their places in the photographs as examples of my leatherwork.
In these images, you’ll see glass beads. The beads are used for making buttons for leather bags or sometimes just to add the right touch.
You will see Native American artifacts that I‘ve made from time to time. I am not native American. However I was born right off the edge of the Navajo reservation and steeped in the Navajo, Zuni, Pueblo, and Apache cultures and my Mother was born on the Cherokee reservation so that has always been an influence in my life as well.
This project is exciting and a long time coming. My heart is grateful for the opportunity to indulge in this medium once again.
